Course Contents: The thoughts concerning the social stratification beginning with Platon and than Aristo, Machiavelli, Marx and Weber have been examined. Furthermore, cast, stand and social class concepts and the concerned approaches have been taken into consideration.
Course Objectives: Notable theories and approaches concerned with the social stratification kinds and the transformation of them during the social changes have been examined. Within this frame, the aim of this study is to examine the stratification types of the today’s world in our country.
